Entry | A quiet day. The 144th Brigade relieved the 145th from 10.0a.m. onwards. The 4th GLOSTERS began to relieve us at 11.0a.m. Each platoon moved off as it was relieved, marching by JENA, via SAILLY, thence to AUTHIE, the last Company arriving 3.45p.m., having had their dinners on the way. The two platoons of A Coy returned about 7.0p.m. The Companies occupied practically the same billets as last time, one platoon of D Coy changing to better quarters. A fine day but misty. Remarks Lieut Cruttwell went on leave. |
