| Entry | Working parties morning only as on the 14th. Enemy's MG from the South side of COMMECOURT WOOD again a nuisance in the morning and afternoon. One of our MGs in the right section was fixed up to fire into GOMMECOURT in reply. A and C Companies relieved A and D at 3.0p.m. - "B" to the KEEP, "D" to the CHATEAU. Two platoons of the RIR were billeted in the KEEP, 2 to the houses South of the CHATEAU. A misty day: practically no artillery fire was possible. |
