| Entry | Our guns again bombarded the enemy's wire and trenches at the special points, but the weather was too rainy and misty for good shooting. At 10.30a.m. a herd of cows and harvesting were visible behind the south end of ROSSIGNOL. There may have been some special signification in these. Many cooking fires were visible in the enemy's trenches at "stand to" this morning. At 6.30p.m. there was a big display of white and red lights on our right flank." ? BEAUMONT HAMEL."
