Entry | B & C Coys found working parties for harvesting in the morning. The Corps Commander visited Battalion HQ about 2.30p.m. The Battlion and 1st Line Transport route-marched 3.45p.m. When about 2 miles out they were met by the Brigadier who ordered an attack practise, which was carried out in the vicinity of BUS. During the operation the Corps and Divisional Commanders inspected the Battalion, the latter waiting to see the attack; he was very satisfied with the work making very few comments. The Battalion returned about 6.30p.m. B & C Coys Outpost work 8 - 10p.m. Rain at intervals in the morning but a fine afternoon. |
