Entry | The re-adjustment of the line was made to-day, our Brigade being relieved by the 144th, In the following order:- 7th WORCESTERS; 8th WORCESTERS; 4th GLOSTERS; 6th GLOSTERS. The HEBUTERNE - PUISIEUX Road was the centre of the line; our Section of the line DURAND to the South was taken over by the 8th WORCESTERS; BOUILLON to the North by the 4th GLOSTERS. The relief of our Section was commenced at 9.15a.m. and completed at 11.30a.m. The Battalion moved off by Sections as they were relieved - C A B & D, and marched to AUTHIE via COIGNEUX. The Transport had to march from COIGNEUX to St LEGER via COUIN. The last limber arrived at AUTHIE about 4p.m. The billets in the village were quite comfortable, but the best of them had been taken by th DAC and other bodies who were permanently stationed here. |
