Entry | B Coy went to Baths in the village in the morning. D Coy in the afternoon. The new arrangement of the line was carried out at 2.0p.m. onwards:- A Company - BEGEAUD - BOUILLON - PAS DE TIR B Company - MARGUERITTE - PRAT - DURAND - BOUILLET C Company - NIEL - LASSALLE - HOCHE - half BATAILLE D Company - Were in local reserve - 1 Platoon in THE SQUARE: 3 in village. The Company dispositions in the trenches were:- A Company - 1 Platoon in each trench; 1 in local reserve in dug-outs in rear of BEGEAUD. B & C Companies - 1 Platoon to each trench. "Alarm" post for "D" Company was allotted. The Communication trenches were allotted as follows:- A Company - SONIS B Company - REVAL - BATTEUSE C Company - BRICKFIELDS - BIRON Working parties from D Coy in the morning - Dug-outs, carrying Rations & Bricks, Bricking, etc. A lovely day. Remarks A band was heard in PUISIEUX about 8.0a.m., transport about 8.30p.m. The enemy's working party were active most of the night.
