Entry Lieut C W Green and 2/Lieut E K Colbourne buried in Military Cemetery CHOCQUES. Captain G M Sharpe Adjutant 4th Btn [sic] and Hon Lieut & Qtr Mst Bushell attended the funeral. A volley was fired over the grave and the last post was sounded. Battn relieved 1st Btn KINGS Regt in the trenches. Relief started at 9am finished at 1pm. Quiet day. Enemy sniping very bad. Lieut C W Green 2/Lt S K Colbourne died of wounds. Captain L W Bird assumed command of the Battn.
