Location France, near Houchin
Entry Remained in Bivouac all day. Working party of 350 marched at 7.30a.m. to AMES. The Battalion marched at 9.20p.m. to join the Brigade at 9.45p.m. at HOUCHIN. The Brigade marched as before to build dug-outs, starting at 6.10a.m. Billeting Party of 18 under 2/Lt RIDLEY marched to HURIONVILLE via LABRUISSIERE - PLACE - A - BRUAY - LOZINGHEM - ALLOUAGN - BURBURE, where the different Battalions branched off to villages near. This Battalion moved to LIERES. This march was very trying with bad weather and some of the side-roads bad going. The Transport of the Battalion arrived at Billets at 4.0a.m. (17th) Fine day.
