| Entry | A unique and historical day for the 1st and 4th Battalions. The Battn marched at 10.45a.m. To meet the 1st Battn, who were billeted in BETHUNE, at a field two miles South of the town. The two Battns spent from 12.30 to 4.0p.m. Together. Various Tugs of War were pulled between teams of the two Battalions. This meeting was a great success and the many relations serving in the two Battns were delighted with the opportunity of meeting. A fine day. |
