| Entry | The Battalion marched at 7.10a.m. to join the Brigade at ALLOUAGNE. At 8.10a.m. The Brigade then moved to form up on the LILLERS - CHOQUES main road to be inspected by the Secretary of State for War. The Infantry Battn of the Division were formed up both sides of the road - single ranks. Cars containing Inspecting Officer and his Staff passed 10.45a.m. Each Coy after the Salute had been given cheered as the cars went by. The Battn returned to billets at 12.15p.m. Regimental Sports were held 5.30p.m. A cooler day. |
