| Entry | Travelled to CASSEL via CALAIS - ST OMER, arrived 4.30am. after 5 hours in train, trucks crowded, 47 NCOs and men to each truck. Marched to WINNEZEELE, trying march after the journey. Billeted in village and farms within a radius of 2 miles. Billets comfortable, and bread, eggs etc could be purchased at each farm. Ref. BELGIUM, HAZEBROUK 5a. |
