| Entry | The 25th Inf Bgde relieved the 23rd Inf Bgde today. 2nd Royal Berks relieved 2 West Yorks Regiment in the ABBEVILLE Section. Boundaries of Battn are - Right Boundary T.17.c.3.4, Left Boundary T.10.c.4.7. Battn Headquarters T.25.b.5.9. The Battn was moved up by lorry from MONT ST ELOY to NEUVILLE ST VAAST and marched from there - only 2 men at a time were allowed to cross the VIMY RIDGE at 35 yards interval. The 2 East Lancs Regt, 25th Inf Bgde held the sub-section on the right and 1st Worcester Regt, 24th Inf Bgde the sub-section on the left. For details of relief (see 2 Royal Berks Regt ORDER NO 5).
