Entry | Enemy shelled the village heavily from 12 noon until 5pm. The village is a small mining centre, with small cottages arranged in rows of hundreds. The miners and their families are still living in them, as they work the mine. One woman and two small boys wounded. Work continued as usual. Many Germans were working in the mines before the war. |
