Regiment | 1st Royal Berkshire |
---|---|
Location | France, LES BREBIS |
Entry | The Btn in billets. The Btn relieved the 1st Btn KRR in section of trenches known as W1. "B" Coy paraded at 8.45pm and proceeded by march route to take over the right section. "A" Coy took over the left section. "D" Coy in immediate support, "C" Coy in local reserve. The relief was completed at 12 midnight. It is interesting to note that at Ypres in November 1914 the Btn was on the extreme LEFT of the British line, joining on to the French, and that now again in June 1915 the Btn was on the extreme RIGHT of the British line joining the French. |
