| Entry | Battn in German trenches. The day was spent in putting the captured trenches into a state of defence. The enemy shelled our own old trenches very heavily. The Btn was relieved by the 1st Btn KINGS (Liverpool) Regt about 8pm and went back and occupied our old line of trenches and billets just in rear of them. |
