| Entry | Battalion left Barracks at 5.45am and proceeded to VERT BOIS FERME for practice of storming trenches. The morning was very instructive. Brigadier Gen Fanshawe Commanding the 6th Infantry Brigade witnessed the practice. The Battalion returned to barracks at 1pm. |
