| Entry | "B" and "C" Coys were in support to the 2nd Bn LINCOLNSHIRE REGT, in an attack on GONNELIEU. The village was captured by the 2nd Lincolns. "B" and "C" Coys suffered no casualties. (Operation order by O.C. Battalion attached and marked "Appendix C"). On night of 21/22nd April, the Battalion relieved the 2nd LINCOLNSHIRE Regt in the Outpost Line, 2 Coys in front line from R.33.b.5.5 to X.3.b.7.8 and two Coys in Close Support. |
