| Entry | At 4.15am the Battalion advanced to make an attack on SOREL-LE-GRAND*, "A" and "C" Coys advanced patrols, and "B" and "D" Coys in Support. The village was taken without opposition. No casualties. At dusk, the Battalion moved to the left and relieved the 2nd Bn THE RIFLE BRIGADE in the Outpost Line. 2 Coys in Front Line and 2 Coys and H.Q. in support in FINS. 3 O.R. to hospl sick. *See Appendix 2 attached. |
