After some trouble due to lack of tpt and with the excellent cooperation of the relieving RA regt, the bn moved out and relief was complete by 1600 hrs. 1300 hrs Sig Message received from Supreme Headquarters by 112 Hy AA Regt RA that the GERMANS had signed final surrender of all their forces at 070121B and that cease fire would operate from 09001B, all ops to cease meanwhile. Bn arrived conc area complete by 2000 hrs. |
