| Entry | 2359 Front remains quiet. 2200 hrs instrs received that there was to be no fg on NETHERLANDS Dist front until further orders. Exceptions to this order were made in the event of enemy landing on SOUTH bank of R MAAS and Cb bombardment. This arrangement is temporary only and made in connection with the feeding of GERMAN-occupied HOLLAND. In spite of these arrangements, Spandau fire was persistent from NORTH bank of R MAAS : it was appreciated that some disorganisation and lack of comns would mean that the instrs would filter very slowly down to the fwd tps. Weather, very cold, wet. |
