| Entry | 2359 Brig E.L. LUCE, DSO, TD, Comd 115 Indep Inf Bde, accompanied by his DAAQMG arrived at 1600 hrs to spend 24 hrs with the Bn. A ceremonial gd mtg pde took place on the town square at 1800 hrs. The gd was found by C Coy; drill and turnout were excellent and Bde Comd confessed to being much impressed. Comd Offr and Bn HQ Offrs gave a sherry party to which local functionaries and officers' billetors were invited. A successful regimental all rks dance was held in the evening. Weather warm. |
