| Entry | 2359 C of E parade service was held 1030 hrs today conducted by Rev Bishop, Senior Chaplain 16 L of C Sub Area. After the service Comd Offr took the salute in the town square. The Burgomaster and three Aldermen were present. News of the parade and march past had been announced by crier yesterday and this morning and a great concourse was assembled in the square. The town was obviously en fete; flags appeared everywhere. The standard of turnout and marching was gratifyingly high. Weather fine. |
