| Entry | 2359. With the withdrawal of the enemy to R RHINE, the Bde sector has become torpid and conc area routine prevails. A Battle P1 has been formed consisting of Lts Knight and Fitzpatrick, 5 NCOs and 24 men drawn from Rifle and Sp Coys. Its function will be to provide patrols etc when required. Its trg is being supervised by 2IC. Its Offrs and men are very keen and they are already shaping well. Bde Comd visited Bn HQ 1200 hrs. Comd 1 Cheshire called Bn HQ 1630 hrs. Weather cold, wet. |
