| Entry | 2359. Comd Offr, 2IC, Adjt, Coy Comds and spec pl comds carried out gd recce of the new bn posns. They are indeed "in the line" as the fwd 2 coys overlook R MAAS on the opposite bank of which the enemy is known to have def posns and from which he sends recce and "snatching" patrols and from time to time brings down shell and mortar fire. CO 2IC and Adjt visited 52nd Lt Infty who will be the bn's neighbours on the rt flank. Weather fine and warm. CO and Adjt attended Bde conference 2100 hrs. |
