| Entry | 2359. Road party left at 0730 hrs. Carriers left by special train at 1400 and the carrier personnel at 2150 hrs. Amusing countretemps with Movement Control who either did not know or would not say when the main body were due to depart. Commanding Officer, however, was given the infm by the Station Master at South Brent. Movement Control seemed most hurt when the infm was passed to them. RTO PURFLEET reported Maj RUCK KEENE had met the road party as arranged. Weather still foul. |
