L.I.R. reports coming under comd. Coy placed Bn HQ area in stiffening and stalk roll [sic] 1045 - 1130: Shellfire on A Coy and Bn HQ 1120 - 1540: Enemy activity round C Coy. D.F. Jane used as harassing fire. 1400: Locality trace & sitrep from Bde 1620: Bn HQ shelled also A Coy 2000: Bursts of Spandau heard between CALABRITTO & Bn HQ 2015: C Coys ration party returns Bn HQ after being shot up before reacing Coy. C Coy came out later and took in the dumped amn. and rations. Heavy Arty fire on Bn Area at this time 2040 - 2050: Enemy infiltration round C Coy. D.F.
