The beginning of the month found the Battalion engaged on Exercise Fabius III together with other Units of the Beach Group. On the 13th the Bn took part in a Beach Group Parade and was visited by the C.i.C Invasion Force General Eisenhower. The end of the month brought active preparation for the long expected 2nd Front. The men are gradually getting ready and as briefing follows briefing speculation is high as to the exact place which is kept a closely guarded secret by the use of bogus maps.- |
