| Entry | 0100 The other Bns having moved along Louvain-Brussels road - the Bn convoy moved off with all tps accompanying & alert. 0430. Halt 0730 Bn again moved on. The route lay through the centre of Brussels. There was great excitement in the city & offers of refreshment to the tps were very numerous. When the ?can was crossed - its bridges were all blown up or mined - there was once more some form of defence between the Bn & the enemy. Brussells 1400. the Bn arrived at billets in the suberbs of the city & rested. 2130 R.A.S.C troop carriers arrived & the Bn was again on the move. |
