Entry Bn remained in wood, posns improved. B Coy placed under command of C.O Royal Ulster Rifles for the purpose of giving assistance in clearing up enemy parties still in Louvain. The Coy moved off in afternoon. When withdrawal of allied line was decided upon preparations made for move. Meanwhile certain uneasiness was caused by the suspected presence of parachutist - snipers but combing of the wood by C Coy failed to locate any. 2130 B Coy returned from Louvain. A Esh & Coys formed convoy in ?sides? On South side of wood. Shortage of vehicle accomodation necessitated the 'dumping' of offr's mess baggage & various articles of equipment. The situation was aggravated by the failure to function of the D Coy P.V which also had to be left. 2330 Bn left wood.
