Location GEMEENTE BOSCH 2 MILES WEST OF LOUVAIN, Belgium
Entry Posns were improved & strengthened throughout the day & Bn HQ & R.A.P moved to dugouts in more suitable sector of the wood. There was a certain amount of shelling, most of the shells falling outside the area though at 1850 1 shell caused the first casualties. It was the only shell to land in that area. 5340106 L/Cpl Ofenshaw W was killed & 5334430 L/Cpl Taylor ? & 5333711 L/Cpl Smith J were wounded by shrapnel. 2130 B Coy moved to more protected posns.
