Entry | "A" Coy moved off at 0630 hrs to move to MAWCHI ROAD Pt 1534. 1 Coy 8 F.F.R. moved into NYAUNGCHIDAUK. Church services held as normal. 136 Force took a P.W. in SITTANG - sent to Div escort. Bn prepared for moved to new area on 18 June. A.T. PL moved by rail to TOUNGOO E to harbour for night. (1 mule casualty in rail move) 8 F.F.R. moved into NYAUNGCHIDAUK. At 2000 hrs reported received of 200 Japs in area K.G. Pt 210. R.As fired rate 7 on K.G. At 2030 hrs C.Os Pl went out to patrol that area. At 2120 hrs R.As fired East of K.G. and at 2145 hrs 100 yds West of K.G. C.O.s Pl lay up all night slightly East of K.G. and patrolled at dawn. Reference to Appendices: Appx J.£.
