| Entry | C.O. held Coy Comdrs Conference at 1000 hrs & the following points were discussed. (1) Malaria Discipline, thorough overhaul to be made. (2) General Man-Management. (3) Internal Security - P.B.F. NYAUNGCHIDAUK. Security plan to be laid down defining Coy responsibilities. (4) 15 Sept, Football & Tug-O-War against F.F.R. (5) Composite Coy under Major Anderson to take over 4/4 Gurkha Rifles responsibilities during Gurkhas celebration on 9 Oct. (6) MAIWAND DAY programme. (7) Bn newspaper to be started under Major Reith. (8) Training for week 10 - 15 Sept. Rest of day treated as a Rest Day. Ecclesiastical. Owing to absence of Padre Davies a modified Church Service was held in Bn HQ at 1800 hrs. Administrative. (1) 8 men of Bn left for 8 days leave at MAYMYO Rest Centre. (2) TOUNGOO short leave restarted. |
