(4) Recreational Training, Inter Coy Tug-O-War held, Results as follows. 'HQ' beat 'A' Coy, 'B' beat 'D' Coy & Admin beat 'C' Coy. (5) Lt Col Finch, off's Brigadier visited Bn. Administration. (1) 20 men of Bn (picked as young soldiers) went to RANGOON to stay with 1st Bn for 1 week. (Nominal Roll attached). (2) 1 man per Coy left for India leave with task on completion of leave of bringing back Regimental Band Instruments from BOMBAY sufficient to start Regtl Dance Band. (1) Special Order of the Day by General Sir William Slim, K.C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., M.C., who succeeds General Leese as C - in - C Allied Land Forces, S.E.A.L. (Copy attached).
