(B) 3" Mortar Cadre. Duration 7 days. 16 men. (C) Signal Cadre. Duration 3 weeks. 10 men. (D) A.T. Cadre. Duration 15 days. 8 men. (E) M.T. School. Duration 2 weeks. 20 men. (F) Pioneers. Volunteers from Coys attached from Rifle to do practical carpentry etc. (G) Intelligence Cadre. Duration 3 weeks. 4 men. Lecture. Capt Brittain gave lecture on "Why Pay Rent". Administration. Mobile Cinema visited Bn & showed Ann Sherdan "Shine On Harvest Moon", one of the best films to be shown in the Bn as yet. Miscellaneous. (1) Div Army Education officer & Bde Education officer visited Bn & discussed with C.O. & 2 I/C Divisional Vocational Schemes to be undertaken on a Div & Bde basis. (2) 19 Other Ranks of Bn returned from MAYMYO leave centre, considered to be a really first class leave centre & most popular. (3) Capt Sumray (QM) & Capt Davies (Padre) went on India leave. |
