| Entry | 3 Jap P.O.W's evacuated through Medical channels. No other Operational commitments for Bn. 19 Div Admin Instruction No 12 on policy for surrendered personnel received. Recce done of 115 Fd Regt R.A. area with a view of taking over buildings for 'B' & 'D' Coys and overflow from present area. Administrative. (1) C.O. held N.C.O. promotion conference. Bn, in view of pending repatriation and demobilisation reduced to very inexperienced material to fill the acute shortages. (2) TOUNGOO Toc H short leave recommenced. (3) Mobile Cinema visited Bn & showed "Atlantic City", which was not too well received owing to the film having been taken many years ago & absence of any real stars in the film. |
