Track to PYAUNGTHO AUK muleable, in village itself one 250 ib unexploded bomb found. Track hardly visable & not muleable. No enemy seen. (B) 'A' Coy Pl patrol to Pt 1788 (229924) found Booby Trap of Jap shell with fuse on track. No enemy seen by this patrol. Attached Bde Op Order for future Ops. Note. Place code names have been changed & are inaccurate. Other units in Bde, Raj Rifles, contacted Japs at M.S. 33 (256947). Strength of Jap position not known. Administration. All Bn mules moved to Harbour area at M.S. 30.1. 25 attached A.T. Coy mules under comd of Bn for maintenance purposes. |
