| Entry | Locations. Remainder of 'A' Coy (Coy HQ & 1 Pl) moved to rejoin Coy at M.S. 29. Operational. (1) Bn did no patrolling except standing patrol of 'B' Coy & spent normal day. (2) 'B' Coy provided defence Pl for Bde HQ for night 6/7 Aug. Administration. (1) Ferry put across from M.S. 25.2 to pt 233. This considerably eased ration problem of the Bn. (2) Major Wileham, West African Force arrived to spend approx 3 weeks with Bn. (Note this not part of Force relieving 62 Bde on MAWCHI ROAD. (3) Attached S.E.A.C. P.R. photographs of extracts of cuttings from English papers of Gen Slim 14th Army Comdr on tour in U.K. |
