(2) 'B' Coy patrolled to Pt 1788 (228924). No sign of any enemy. (3) 1 Sect M.M.Gs came under comd 'C' Coy at M.S. 28. Other units in Bde (1) Raj Rifs moved through 'A' Coy & occupied M.S. 29.4. Administration. (1) Special Order of the Day by Brigadier C.I. Jerrard dated 3 Aug 45 attached. (2) Corps Comdr (General Messervey) & Div Comdr (General Rees) visited IRON Bridge. (3) Bn received extra Rum issue sanctioned for whole of 19 Div by Corps Comdr for part played in destroying Japs attempting to cross road between TOUNGOO and ZEYAWADI. |
