Location M.S. 16.6 on MAWCHI ROAD., Burma
Entry Operations: Patrols as follows:- (1) 'B' Coy. KWEDE (0401) - Pt 239 (0203) - M.S. 19. (2) 'B' Coy. KYETTAIK (0903) - KYETTAIK ATET (1104). (3) 'D' Coy. THANDAUNG - TAWBYGYI (1409) (Special 24 hr patrol left 28 June). (4) 'D' Coy. THANDAUNG - KYAUKLONGYI (1523). All negative information. Locals sent out by 'D' Coy to neighbouring villages for information & Japs all returned with negative information. Training: Tactical cadre and R.S.Ms cadre continued. Remainder of Bn carried out normal training as per programme. Administration: (1) Two A.M.F.U. cameramen arrived to take photos of living and training conditions during monsoon period. They filmed 'C' Coy preparing jungle fire lanes and bivouacs of the Bn. (2) C.O. paid a visit to 'D' Coy at THANDAUNG. (3) Lieut Col G.G. DEMETRIADI, M.B.E. A/Q 19 Ind Div. visited the Bn.
