Location M.S. 16.6 on MAWCHI ROAD., Burma
Entry Operations: Modified patrolling carried out as follows:- (i) 'B' Coy patrol to NYAUNGBIN SAKAN (0801) - KYETTAIK ALE (0903) - KYETTAIK ATET (1104) - M.S. 17 reported no enemy seen. (ii) 'C' Coy 72 hr patrol to TONBO (1093) left at 0700 hrs. Administration: Bn applied D.P.B. to all clothes as protection against typhus. Rest of day was spent administratively. Sick chart issued to each Coy to be maintained daily. Ecclesiastical: Normal Church Services held in Bn HQ, 'A' and 'D' Coys areas. Welfare: Lieut A.W. Day ('D' Coy) R.S.M. Fentley B. C.S.N. Hodd J. (HQ Coy), Pte Roberts ('D' Coy) and Pte Peters ('B' Coy) left Bn for RANGOON, for 28 days leave in U.K. 20 men of the Bn went to an E.N.S.A. show "Laugh Awhile" held in TOC H at TOUNGOO.
