| Entry | 'D' Coy Pl searched area of last nights firing and found 3 dead Japs, quite a lot of documents, and photos. At 0700 hrs 2 Secs C.Os Pl moved out to GEWBINGAUK 894550 to seek out 6 Japs reported there. Japs has 2 L.M.Gs C.O's Pl fired 2" Mtrs and L.M.Gs and wounded some Japs; owing to long grass the Japs got away. At 1115 hrs Bty R.As fired 40 rounds on chaung 832570. Results N.Y.K. Move order No. 25 from Div received for move to new area. Recce party under Major E.C. Pemberton M.C. moved off to M.S.13 Mawchi Road. C.Os O Gp at 1415 hrs to tie up move of main body.
