| Entry | C.Os Pl ambush returned. No enemy seen. 'B' Coy still in same location and patrolling into hills West of KYET (8348). Located no enemy and reported villages clear of Japs. Villagers reported cutting of bamboo during night 6/7 in area 833475. 1 Jap rifle found 848461. At 1130 hrs leaflets printed in Japanese came floating down on area of Bn H.Q. from the North. Thought to be our own propaganda leaflets. 3 sent to Div H.Q. for confirmation. (See Appx J.1.) 1 Jap officers sword found at 8455. Further search of area of YEOZIN operation by Guerillas revealed a further 44 dead Japs including a Lt-Col, also much equipment and fire arms. Reference to Appendices: Appx J.1.
