Entry | Locations of 'B' and 'D' Coys remained the same. 1 Pl 'A' Coy went to PYAUNGTHE ANANG 866527 in mobile roll. Villagers reported that shelling at 0200 hrs 6th June was about 600 yds out as Japs had moved back into foothills 8453 and were reported to have remained there all day with their four elephants. At 1730 hrs C.Os Pl ordered to lay ambush at chaung and track junc. 8859. 2 I.N.A. and 2 Japs captured by Guerillas 8767. 1 Jap P.W. captured by 'B' Coy at SELPUGON 8449 and sent back to Div under escort. No 1 Training Directive received from Div for period up to 15 Sept. Div Commander visited the Bn. Own cas. 1 B.O.R. wounded by grenade thrown by one of his own Coy. Reference to Appendices: None. |
