(See Sitrep Appx A.3.). 2 more Japs killed by Guerillas, docs sent to Div HQ. At 0730 hrs 'B' Coy moved out to LEAINZU - ASHEYWA 852481, plus 1 Sec Mtrs on mule basis where they based. Patrols sent to KYETPAUNGGYAUNG 835479 and SELKPUGON 845490. KYETPAUNGGYAUNG reported clear at 1100 hrs. Bodies of 2 Japs killed by locals at 0200 hrs found, also documents. At 1900 hrs 'B' Coy R at KYETPAUNGGYAUNG attacked by Japs, estimated at 50 in strength, with believed 1 M.M.G., 2 L.M.Gs and grenade dischargers. Attack beaten off. 1 troop 115 Fd Regt R.A. carried out shoot on Ridge 843485, 5 Rds per gun. Believed Japs moved N. to SELKPUGON after being beaten off by 'B' Coy Pl. 1 Pl 'A' Coy laid ambush about M.S. 148 (883518) at 1700 hrs. 1 Pl 'D' Coy plus 1 Sect 3" Mtrs moved to NAUNGBINTHA 8751 at 1830 hrs.
