| Entry | Training continued. During the afternoon the local inhabitants brought in a P.O.W. whom they had discovered asleep. 'D' Coy with 1 Tp Armd cars, laid an ambush for night 19/20 as follows:- 1 Pl from the bend in the PYU CHAUNG 900436 stretching North about 150 yds. to the track running East and West. 1 Pl North of SADHUGAON 8944 - the armoured cars on the road due West of SADHUGAON - the whole layout being triangular in shape, with the apex pointing West. The ambush party moved into posn after dark. Reference to Appendice: None. |
