Entry | Victory Day. At 1430 hrs 'C' Coy moved out in M.T. to KYWEMATHE and were established there at 1700 hrs. Task - to block the track and provide escorts to convoys moving along the L of C to SATCHAUNG 7260. 4th Corps Comdr Lt-Gen F.S. Messeroy C.B. DSO visited that portion of the Bn located at NYAUNGCHIDAUK during the afternoon and spoke informally to all available offrs and men. He congratulated the Bn on its achievements, talked at some length on the problems of air supply, and gave some intimation of the Bns future role. Very heavy rain fell during the night.
