Entry | An officer recce patrol, together with an F.O.O. left at 0815 hrs. to investigate an abnormally large concentration of bullock carts reported by an O.P. in Sq. 9559. These were however discovered to be a bullock train en route from Pyu 8941. The A.T. Pl rejoined at 0800 hrs, having staged the night at KYWEBWE on their march from TOUNGOO. Sunday 13th was observed throughout ALFSEA as Thanksgiving Sunday. Holy Communion was held at 0630 hrs and Thanksgiving Services at NYAUNGCHIDAUK and ZEYAWADI at 0900 hrs and 1030 hrs respectively. During the morning the M.M.G. Pl was withdrawn into Bde reserve, and a warning order was received for 1 Coy 2 R. Berks to move to KYWEMATHE 8265 on 14th May.
