| Entry | At 0800 hrs during a demonstration of a Pl in the advance to contact orders were received to move to PYAWBWE in M.T. that same afternoon. The Bn, less the Adm Box, left MEIKTILA at approx 1515 hrs and arrived at PYAWBWE about 1800 hrs. Route via YINDAW 3812. On arrival the bn was deployed non-tactically in the Southern portion of the town. For the first time since our entry into Burma every man slept with a roof of sorts over his head.
