| Entry | Local patrols reported N.E.S. At approx 1400 hrs 'B' Coy, with 1 Pl M.Gs moved out to cross tracks 621590. En route they were shelled by 2 x 75 mm guns and suffered casualties. 1 killed and two wounded. They then dug in without further interference. A 'C' Coy patrol to MAGYI-DK to contact the Gurkhas was fired on at 620613 and suffered casualties, 2 wounded. One more wounded occurred from shelling during the night.
