| Entry | Bn HQ, HQ Coy, 'B' Coy and part of 'A' Coy moved to MAYMYO by M.T. MAYMYO is a hill station about 4000 ft up, 42 miles East of Mandalay. Climate when Bn arrived was much cooler and more pleasant than on Mandalay plains. Object of visit was to rest and carry out re-organisation. Practically no enemy threat was expected. Bn HQ and HQ Coy were located in Flagstaff House and in its grounds. 'A' Coy nearby in residential quarters, 'B' and 'C' Coys on West side of HARCOURT BUTLER Lake and 'D' Coy on its East side.
